Sales of Singapore private homes by developers fell by 36.2% in April compared to the same period a year ago.
According to latest data of Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on 16 May, developers new private home sold 745 units in April 2016, about 11.6 percent lower compared to 843 units sold last month.
There were 3 large development launched last March, while only one smaller project and one new large condominium development were launched last month.
However, sales figure last month was still higher compared to the 300 to 500 unit range in previous months whereas no new private homes launches.
Sales last month were anchored by the launch of Sturdee Residences by Sustained Land, which results as top selling condominium developments with 126 units sold at $1,620 per sq ft (psf) median price.
