singapore googleSearch giant Google is currently constructing the Singapore’s new data centre located in Jurong, close to the newest Lake Life EC @ Yuan Ching. Piling works for the 5 storey search giant’s building have started with a land span more than two hectares and expected to be ready by mid-2017.

According to Google’s Vice President for Data Centres, Mr Joe Kava, The new Data Centres will be built with principles same as the old one. It will use 100% recycled water for cooling system and its facility will be one of most environmentally friendly sites in the whole of Asia.

The new facility will bring long-term investment of Google in Singapore data centre to more than US$500 million or S$ 677.7 million, Mr Joe Kava added.

Tech giant Google in Singapore is one of only two site of Google’s data centres in Asia. Google’s data centre will benefits Singapore Internet surfers, it also provide new business opportunities and access becomes faster to connect with family and friends, near or far.
