The Finance Ministry recently announced during the Budget 2016 on April 29 that the eligible Singaporean household of around 840,000 will receive about one and three month’s rebates this year on their Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC.) to help them deal with the cost of living.
The mentioned rebates will be distributed over the months of May, July and October of this year. The details of the rebate will be specified in a letter which they will receive by April depending on their acquired HBD flat type.
For 1 and 2 –room flats, they will receive a total of 3 months rebate while 3 and 4-room flats will receive 2 months rebate. For those with 5-room flats, a total of 1.5 month rebate will be handed to them while the Executive/Multi-Generation flats will receive a 1 month rebate.
