Developer SingHaiyi Group said that throughout the course of the weekend, almost 10,000 individuals visited the Grand Dunman preview sales gallery. These numbers are up to 8 p.m. on July 2. On Saturday, July 1st, the sales gallery opened to the public for a preview. The official release date is set for July 15th.
SingHaiyi Group CEO Raymond Chia was pleased with the attendance and predicted good business.
This year’s visitation count is the greatest in at least the last five years. The 805-unit Park Colonial at Woodleigh by Chip Eng Seng Corp premiered on June 30-July 1, 2018, and attracted an audience of roughly 10,000.
SingHaiyi has not provided pricing information for the Grand Dunman private condo, which includes 1,008 units. However, advertising firms predict they will be “just below $2,500 psf on average.”
Given that SingHaiyi paid $1,350 psf per plot ratio for the Grand Dunman land parcel in June of 2017, SRI Managing Partner Ken Low believes the average price of little under $2,500 psf is “in line with expectations.”
Grand Dunman preview suggested pricing may be about $2,500 psf, which is on par with or slightly higher than the average price of $2,465 psf during the debut of the 638-unit Tembusu Grand in April of this year. Tembusu Grand was built by City Developments Ltd (CDL) and MCL Land at the corner of Tanjong Katong Road and Jalan Tembusu.
District 15’s East Coast is home to Tembusu Grand and Grand Dunman. But the Grand Dunman is on Dunman Road, close to the Geylang River and the Circle Line’s Dakota MRT station, which is just a two-minute walk away.
