One of Singapore’s leading developers CapitaLand has been widely recognized by the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark as Asia’s most sustainable diversified property developer for the sixth straight year.
The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark or GRESB also identified CapitaLand Mall Trust, the largest and first real estate investment trust, being the most sustainable registered shopping mall owner in Asia.
The GRESB is an industry-driven organisation engaged in assessing the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) sustainability performance of real assets worldwide, as well as property portfolios.
For the fifth consecutive year, CapitaLand was named in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, by which it turns out as one of the 2 companies in Singapore to be included in the worldwide listing.
Last April 2016, CapitaLand was included in FTSE4Good ASEAN 5 Index in FTSE Russell, while in May, the company was also included in the SGX Sustainability Indices.
Early this year, CapitaLand was recognized by Corporate Knights in the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations worldwide and received the RobecoSAM 2016 Bronze Class Sustainability Award.
