An office, residential, and retail complex is planned for the block of land above the Woodlands TEL station at Woodlands Avenue 2. It is anticipated that this project would provide a better quality of life and more employment prospects for the North Region’s population, as well as a broad variety of F&B and entertainment services.

A new commercial development with 58,000 square feet of office space, Woods Square (Woods Central), is scheduled to open in 2019.

The Woodlands TEL station is scheduled to open in 2019 and will be linked to the Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange after its upgrade is complete.

 

 

Woodlands Avenue 2 Location

 

Located at Woodlands Avenue 2, this white site is near to The Woodlands MRT station, from which commuters may take the Thomson-East Coast and North-South MRT lines, is directly linked to the property parcel. With the Seletar Expressway (SLE), the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), and the forthcoming North-South Corridor (Singapore’s first integrated transport corridor), it is also conveniently accessible.

The forthcoming TEL will provide a new direct link between Woodlands and the Orchard Road and Downtown commercial sectors, making public transportation easy to go throughout the area.

As part of a comprehensive network of pedestrian and bicycle-friendly linkages, the next construction will provide easy access to other parts of Woodlands Central as well as the rustic shoreline of Woodlands. Potential of the Site

As a major commercial center, Woodlands Regional Center will bring employment closer to residents in the North area by occupying 100 acres of land.

Woodlands Regional Center will grow into a hub for industry, research and development, education, and innovation during the next 15 years. Woodlands Regional Centre is ready to become a hub of new possibilities for people and companies alike, thanks to the forthcoming Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL).

In addition to providing a broad range of adaptable office and industrial space, Woodlands Regional Center will be situated in a lush and verdant setting on an enormous shoreline.

Woodlands Central and Woodlands North Coast will be linked by a network of green, walking routes and pleasant cycling, featurin  the WoodsVista Gallery, two pedestrian thoroughfares, and the Central Spine. Woodlands Regional Centre will be a one-of-a-kind living, working, playing, and learning zone in Singapore’s north.

As part of Woodlands North Coast, residents will have access to a new waterfront community featuring residences, a variety of businesses, and a variety of amenities. This mixed-use business and leisure district will be spread over 70 hectares of land and include a wide range of flexible workspaces that are designed to meet the demands of small and medium-sized businesses as well as multinational corporations (MNCs).

Office, retail, residential, entertainment, F&B, and other complementing uses will coexist harmoniously in Woodlands Central to create a regional node of activity. In the near future, Woodlands Central will be transformed into a significant commercial node, increasing its position as the primary regional center for inhabitants and enterprises in the North. The two precincts of Woodlands Regional Centre will add around 10,000 new residences. This area will be turned into a place where people can live, work, study, and play because to Republic Polytechnic’s proximity.

The WoodsVista Gallery, a communal connection with dedicated cycling and pedestrian lanes, will run through the center of the area.
