WOODLANDS will feature close to 10,000 modern housing units in inclusion to a new business hub as share of a refurbishment to renovate the expanse into the “star terminus of the north”.
“The Woodlands Regional Centre will be a current center for businesses, particularly those with Asian and Malaysian connections,” said Second Minister and Minister for National Development for Finance Lawrence Wong on Sunday.
He said this at a display displaying the strategies for the expanse under the Housing & Development Board’s Remaking Our Heartland program.
The renovation for Woodlands will be applied within the next 5-10 years. A capital has so far to be settled.
The new residential properties will be situated at Woodlands North Coast and Woodlands Central- which compose Woodlands Regional Centre, one of the recent 6 “star attractions” to refresh the area.
The Woodlands Central units – which will be close to the current Causeway Point Mall and Woodlands MRT Station- will be unified with a pedestrian mall with community commercial facilities.
