About 79 percent of Singapore young couples consider to live in an executive condominium set up with smart technologies, according to Qingjian Realty online survey perform earlier this year.
The study results are based on 100 respondents with ages between 20 to 40, assessing their sentiment towards smart living.
According to surveyed, 63 percent of respondents are agree to pay $30,000 to $40,000 to enable smart technologies in their home, including appliances, electronics and security features.
Smart home top features that appeal the respondents include energy efficiency, convenience and safety. Smart home with smart air-conditioning, smart security and smart lighting are some other features that respondents would like to see.
Qingjian Realty General Manager, Li Jun reported that Qingjian Realty are working on rendering the idea of a model futuristic home, where it is fitted with smart technologies. Qingjian will launch the first Smart EC project in Singapore, The Visionaire in Sembawang.
Some of the new private condominiums that will launch this year also enabling smart home technologies. Like the newest Wisteria condo in Yishun, which about to launch in March. It will features air-conditioning via a smart device and remotely control door access.
