
The Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) flash estimates disclosed that prices of private homes in the non-central region, excluding the small units, led the fall of 1.4 per cent in March from the marginal increase of the preceding month. Prices of homes at the central region, excluding small units, also fell 0.5 per cent.
The Prices of mall units with floor area of 506sqf or below also fell 1 per cent in the month of March when compared to the previous month.
The SRPI which was consolidated by the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Real Estate Studies revealed an overall decline in prices which fell 1 per cent in March when compared to the rise of 0.4 per cent in February.
