After previous successful launching their previous development at Jurong namely J Gateway and Lakeville, Developer MCL set to Launch Lake Grande in Mid of 2016. They came in Top bid of $338.12m which is about 3.2% less than former land at Lakeville land parcel A.
MCL came in top bidder out of 9 bidder, which shows that despite of quiet market, land which has strong attributes such as good location will still attracts developers. Jurong has the strongest growth of all the Singapore regional centres. The Singapore Malaysia high speed rail will further boost investors interest in Jurong.
Lake Grande will cater more of younger families though still designed for residents stay in mind. There will be more of smaller units of 1 and 2 bedrooms unitsto complement the bigger units at Lakeville. Lakeville has since sold about 60% out of 696 units with an average of about $1,310psf.
