Singapore’s newest high-end condominium Pollen and Bleu @ Farrer Drive in the prime exclusive District 10 has sold fewer than 10 units in Hong Kong and Singapore, media reports said.
The well-known developer Singland Development Pte. Ltd held previews for Pollen and Bleu last 1 to 3 May following a soft launch on 9 May and released around 30 units for its first tranche.
Pollen & Bleu offered a 15% discount on every units with an average prices around $1,900 and $2,000 psf.
The 549 sq ft one bedroom units priced start from $1.05 million, two bedders in 872 sq ft priced around $1.58 million, and the 184 sq ft 3-bedders priced range about $2.18 million, an agent stated.
While the four-bedrooms and penthouses unit prices are available only on request at the showflat.
Donald Han, managing director of Chesterton Singapore attributed Pollen & Bleu’s muted response to marketing function and price, and property buyers find hard to stomach.
Projects nowadays need to be reasonably priced in a market where buyers expect for discounts, Chief Executive of Century 21, Ku Swee Yong said.
Pollen & Bleu will be attractive when property buyers get on-site, it is not possible right now because the construction of project still going on, Michael Ng of United Industrial Corp noted.
The upcoming boutique condo is located close to many good schools like Hwa Chong Institution, Nanyang Primary School and Anglo Chinese School, it is also a short drive away from Dempsey Hill, Orchard Road and Holland Village.
