Kallang RiverA well-established construction, property development company Koh Brothers Group has secured a construction contract from the Public Utilities Board (PUB) worth $86.3 million to upgrade a 1.8km portion of the Kallang River, between Braddell Road and Bishan.

The construction will transform the Kallang River canal section into an attractive stream which is blended with the surroundings. It is a part of PUB, Singapore’s national water agency’s Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Programme.

The transformation project will add a new park containing cantilevered decks and seating area for people to experienced and enjoy the impressive waterfront views with proposed park connector.

According to Mr Francis Koh of Koh Brothers Group, the project required a meticulous planning and procedure, being placed in close proximity to viaducts and MRT tracks. The group we will be constructing within an existing canal plus fluctuating water levels and executing stabilizing works to ensure safeness of construction.
