Sky Habitat at BishanPrivate residential projects with world-renowned architects design may help increase of property sales, market watchers consider that pricing and location are still the main concern for home buyers.

The two 38-storey blocks Sky Habitat at Bishan Central is the newest designer condominium development with 99-years tenure to be completed in Singapore. Sky Habitat is proudly designed by  Moshie Safdie, a Canadian/American architect, who is also responsible for Ardmore Park, The Edge on Cairnhill and the renowned Marina Bay Sands.

The Sky Habitat is not the only development by CapitaLand to engage distinguished designer names. Zaha Hadid, a famous Iraqi-British architect, designer of d’Leedon at Farrer Road. Zaha was the first female to be awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize.

Market watchers stated that top property developers are commonly the ones appoint leading architects since they have bigger pockets.

According to Mr Nicholas Mak of SLP International Property Consultants, projects in a very prime location, very close to Paterson Road or Orchard Road for example, project may not actually require a big name architects to design the development because the important selling point of the project is the location.

Most of widely recognized architecture aim to be within the city area and they may intent to command a price higher than the other rival projects within the vicinity.
