After CapitaLand held a VIP preview in Jakarta, Indonesia last 20 to 21 February, the 268-unit of Cairnhill 9 New condo at Cairnhill attracts some Indonesians and reserved a significant number of condo units.
To secure the reserved units, potential home buyers of Cairnhill 9 deposited their cheques, however they may still cancel their reservation.
According to Tata Goeyardi (Religare Capital Markets), CapitaLand’s latest development at Cairnhill attracts Indonesians due to its direct link to Paragon shopping mall and a medical centre on top. The Mount Elizabeth Orchard hospital is also in close proximity.
Another advantageous feature that appeals to the prospective buyer is the competitive pricing. Average unit price of Cairnhill 9 ranges from $2,400psf to $2,500psf, In comparison to other prime freehold development within the area, the average selling priced is $2,600 psf to $2,700 psf.
Although the Cairnhill 9 New condo is a 99-year leasehold project, Indonesians are not discourage, unlike Singaporeans who mostly preferred freehold properties, Goeyardi added.
CapitaLand will officially launched their latest development Cairnhill 9 on 12 March and planning to have another round of viewings by appointment.
