The public’s keen interest in Watten House was evident as the show flat experienced a bustling crowd on November 18, marking the end of its private preview period. The official public launch is scheduled for the upcoming year.

Liam Wee Sin, the CEO of UOL Group, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating, “Watten House has concluded the year on a high note for both UOL and SingLand.” The luxury development spans a sprawling 220,241 square feet site, embodying a new pinnacle of opulence.

Among the units sold were three penthouses, showcasing the diverse appeal of Watten House. Anson Lim, UOL’s General Manager of Residential Marketing, revealed that an impressive 96% of the buyers were Singaporeans and permanent residents, emphasizing the development’s popularity for both owner occupation and investment purposes.

Anson attributed the robust sales figures to the unique attributes of Watten House, citing its rare location in a nice Good Class Bungalow locale with proximity to lifestyle amenities and renowned schools. The development’s design, characterized by an Asian touch, vernacular roofs, and elegant proportions, further contributed to its allure, according to Liam.

Watten House emerged through the redevelopment of the former Watten Estate Condo, acquired through a joint venture between UOL and SingLand for $550.8 million in October 2021. Following the conclusion of the private preview on November 19, UOL will temporarily close the show flats and sales gallery, reserving the public launch for the upcoming year.
