Residents of Punggol and Sengkang heading home will enjoy an easier drive via Tampines Expressway (TPE) by the end of September.
Improvement will be made to the current lanes at the exit of TPE on the way to Seletar Expressway (SLE) adjacent the Punggol Flyover, to change and improve the flow of traffic in Sengkang and Punggol towns, benefiting residents of High Park Residences and RiverTrees Residences.
According to the advisers of Pasir Ris-Punggol grassroots Janil Puthucheary and Teo Ser Luck, Drivers in TPE will be able to drive outside the 2 bus lanes, and give way to public buses where needed.
Presently, the bus lanes are not allowed to use by the drivers. Motorists can use the two lanes at the exit, plus 2 lanes for public buses which opened last year.
