History of the Site at  Terra Hill

In this address stands the former property named Flynn Park. The property was put into a collective sale and was won over by a partnership between Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments. The Greater Southern Waterfront was announced for the first time in 2013. It consists of approximately 30 kilometers of beachfront extending from Gardens by the Bay East to Pasir Panjang. That’s 2,000 hectares of land, which is double the size of Punggol, six times the size of Marina Bay.

More plans for the Greater Southern Waterfront were unveiled during the 2019 National Day Rally, which brought the Greater Southern Waterfront back into the spotlight. Numerous housing developments, additional attractions, and office buildings are planned for the region. Pulau Brani will also be transformed into a fun and recreational island, and the two defunct power plants at Pasir Panjang would be rehabilitated.

On 12 April 2022, HDB announced that 6,000 units would be constructed in the Greater Southern Waterfront region, on the present Keppel Club site. Within the following three years, these BTO apartments will be made available for purchase. On the 48 hectare plot, an additional 3,000 private dwelling units will be constructed.
