The blocks are also planned to be placed in a way that doesn’t cause people to be able to see each other or to have industrial buildings facing north-west.
Tower blocks that have a lot of frontage on Yishun Ave 8 are seen as important, but they also make a lot of noise. Towers that are placed on Yishun Avenue 8 are set back 15 meters from the road so that the noise from Cat 2 Road doesn’t bother them as much.
