Irwell Bank Road en bloc was launched into tender last October 2019. This en bloc has a land size of 12,785 square meters which also holds a 99-year leasehold tenure. The en bloc receives an astonishing number of bids that come from a total of seven interested developers in the country.

Battling against each bid are renowned developers that include a consortium encompassed by Sino Group, Far East Organization and Sekisui House as well as Frasers Property Jade and Winvale Investment. The consortium came in second highest with a bid amounting to $1,453.37 per square foot per plot ratio or translates to a whopping $560.1 million.

While Winvale Investment came in last with about $409.89 million in bid, Frasers Property Jade then offers a $527.98 million bid which is still short to catch on the top spot to win the site.

The price was outbid by the City Developments (CDL) with a $1,515 pr square foot per plot ratio or a magnificent $583.89 million. Against six more bidders, CDL marked another win over sought after sites in the country.

The tender was closed last January 9, 2020. The award was completed on January 14 with yet another victorious opportunity for the renowned developer.
