North Park Residences, a rare condominium living structured on the top of NorthPoint City @ Yishun integrated development, the said project sold 313 units of the 430 units primarily presented on Sunday at its soft launch.
Sales of condo were named as “encouraging” and over 88 % of the home buyers were Singaporeans, with interest equally spread across its 1 bedroom to 5 bedroom apartments.
The 920 condo units by renowned developer Frasers Centrepoint Limited (FCL) gives an average price of $1,300 psf, the unit price starts from $612,000 for a studio type while the most expensive apartments are approximately $1.89 million.
“Developers these days are pricing their projects more competitively to attract home buyers”, said Mohamed Ismail, CEO of PropNex Realty.
“Cooling measures of Government on the property market have successfully tamed the strategies of pricing, therefore property developers are cautiously ensuring that the property price is right and as attractive as possible to home buyers today”, he added.
Meanwhile, the advantages to being part of an integrated development and Yishun location were also considered as major draw cards.
Expected date of completion by 2018, residents of North Park Residences will experience ‘doorstep’ access to 500 F&B and retail stores as well as the Yishun Integrated Transport Hub.
Projects are also up-to-date to improve the connectivity of town to all parts of Singapore, including the new expressway.
