Foreign-buyers-chart
Since 2000, foreigners comprises about 4.1% of the total property purchase. But by 2011, this number increase to a whoppy 17.5%. This buying spree was boosted by job opportunity, Singapore solid position, more foreign capital and rising investment interest. However, the buying interest slipped from 2012 to 2014 about 7% due to the implemention of the Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD).
