D’LeedonSingapore based developer CapitaLand proudly announced that 2 of its projects, Jewel Changi Airport and D’Leedon were recognised at the International Architecture Awards for this year 2016.

The awards recognise property projects that show excellence in following factors such as construction, planning, design and sustainability.

Completed last 2014, this 1,715-unit D’Leedon condominium was designed by the late British-Iraqi well-known architect Zaha Hadid. The Project is Singapore’s largest residential development located next to Farrer Road MRT station.

According to CapitaLand’s Chief Development Officer for Asia, Mr Simon Yong, the placement and orientation of the 7 blocks residential project take environmental aspects into account.

Moreover, another project Jewel Changi Airport is due to open in year 2019. Thoughtfully designed by Safdie Architects, the project’s unique architecture includes an impressive steel and glass façade and a lush greenery indoors.

Jewel Changi Airport is a mixed-use development with facilities for airport operations, hotel facilities,  retail stores and a car park.
