A first 5 km out of the 13 km planned bike roads or path was initially opened by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the succeeding kilometers will be opened on coming month, published, The Straight Times.
The paths occupied along Chai Chee Road, Sims Avenue East, Bedok North Street 2, New Upper Changi Road and Avenue 3.
“When the new build system will be completed, an additional structure will be built, such as bicycle crossings, parking spaces for bikes and ramps to aid in safer and convenient cycling, told LTA’s spokesperson.
The new path around Bedok is painted red and it was made after Ang Mo Kio’s paths, which served as the test site for the most recent cycling infrastructure.
