According to an SGX filing by Goodland Group, Serangoon Road Shophouse freehold properties are “strategically and conveniently situated at the city fringe” at 1375, 1377, 1379, and 1381 Serangoon Road. One of the promising developments in the area is the Sky Botania by the KSH Holdings.
Peg East, a subsidiary of the Goodland Group, has agreed to pay $16 million for a row of four double-storey shophouses on Serangoon Road.

The Serangoon Road Shophouse properties are “strategically and conveniently positioned at the city fringe” at 1375, 1377, 1379, and 1381 Serangoon Road. They are freehold and conveniently located near expressways, major roads, MRT stations, and shopping malls.
“Subject to securing the requisite clearances from the relevant authorities, the group intends to redevelop the site of Serangoon Road Shophouse to a mixed development on which the properties are situated, which is in accordance with the company’s business,” Goodland said in an SGX filing on Wednesday (9 June).
The transaction is being funded through internal sources and/or bank borrowings, according to the company.
The transaction is not expected to have a major impact on Goodland’s net tangible assets or profits per share in the current fiscal year, which ends on September 30, 2021.
