Sceneca Residence

Sceneca Residence will begin its previews on January 1, 2023, according to joint developers MCC Singapore, Ekovest Development, and The Place Holdings. The Sceneca mixed-use development, which also has the 20,000 square foot Sceneca Square shopping center, features the 268-unit condominium. The project is expected to begin on January 14 after a fortnight has passed.

Sceneca Residence Singapore, which is situated at Tanah Merah Kechil Link, will have a covered linkway that connects it immediately to the Tanah Merah MRT Station. Tan Zhiyong, CEO of MCC Singapore, said that Sceneca Square would finally deliver a mall to Tanah Merah that it can call its own. With direct MRT access, Sceneca is set to take center stage in Tanah Merah, where shoppers, tourists, commuters, and locals can gather and travel, bringing a lot of energy and excitement to the neighborhood.

In a government land sales back in November 2020, MCC Singapore and its joint venture partners bought the Tanah Merah Kechil Link location. With an offer of $248.99 million ($930 psf per plot ratio), they had successfully acquired the property. The Poiz Residences and The Poiz Centre, which are immediately adjacent to Potong Pasir MRT Station, as well as One Bernam in Tanjong Pagar, which is now under construction, were MCC Singapore’s first two mixed-use development projects. Sceneca will be their third.

Sceneca, created by renowned ADDP Architects and named for the Tanah Merah (“red soil” in Malay) locale, would feature a terracotta façade with contemporary steel accents. The project has the potential to become a famous Tanah Merah monument.

The Tanah Merah MRT station and its passing trains are placed back from the 14- and 15-story residential structures. Beginning on the third floor, above the shopping center and street level, are residential apartments. A carefully chosen assortment of cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and a 10,000 square foot new-to-market grocery will be included in the one-story Sceneca Square. An event plaza that faces the mall may accommodate pop-up shops, bazaars, and other events.

48 different amenities are available at Sceneca Residence, including a 50-meter lap pool, a family lounge, a clubhouse, a function room, and a party pavilion. The clubhouse has a well-stocked pantry, a built-in microwave, a vending machine, and a private study or work area. A kitchenette with an island counter and built-in sink is provided in the event space.

All residential apartments will include bathroom fittings from the Swiss and Italian brands Geberit and Newform, as well as kitchen sinks from the Swiss and Italian brands Franke and Smeg appliances. Additionally, a multi-access Häfele digital lockset and a Fermax smart home system will be installed. .

Due to its ease, the project will be appealing to both singles and families. Changi City Point, Bedok Mall, Singapore Expo, and Changi Business Park can all be reached in just one MRT stop. Tampines Mall, Our Tampines Hub, Tampines Regional Centre, and Changi Airport can all be reached in two stops, and White Sands, Downtown East, Pasir Ris Park, and Laguna National Golf Resort Club can all be reached in three stops.

St. Anthony’s Canossian Primary School, Secondary School, Bedok Green Primary School, and Anglican High School are all within one kilometer of each other. Temasek Primary School, Temasek Secondary School, and Temasek Junior College are all between one and two kilometers apart. Victoria Junior College, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and United World College of South East Asia are further local educational institutions (East Campus).
