Construction for the newest underground retail connection in Nee Soon will start next month to provide nearby residents good access between Yishun MRT and the upcoming Northpoint City integrated development.
According to Mr Cheang Kok Kheong of Frasers Centrepoint Limited, with Northpoint Link, nearby residents will be able to attain Orchard Road with total comfort in just 22 minutes by means of train, as Yishun MRT smoothly linked to the bus interchange via convenient and comfortable underground retail link.
With approximate 30 shops, the centralised air-conditioned Northpoint Link will improve the current underpass linking the bus interchange and MRT station via Northpoint Shopping Centre.
The comfort of connectivity was one of the major draws offered by the integrated transport hub for the investors of the latest launched at Yishun Central, North Park Residences. It offers 920 condo units with an average price of $1,300 psf.
Estimated 80% of the 600 condo units were sold within 2 months after the launch of North Park Residences last April 2015. However, construction works of Northpoint Link are due to complete after two years.
