Singapore Government announced last 8 June the list of sites under the Government Land Sales (GLS) programme for the second half of 2016, which consists of 11 Reserve List sites and 4 Confirmed List sites.
These list of sites expected yield up to 7,550 residential units and commercial space with 277,100 sq m GFA.
Under the Confirmed List sites are 3 private residential sites at Perumal Road, West Coast Vale and Fernvale Road, and 1 mixed-use site located at Upper Serangoon Road. These sites is expected to yield about 2,170 homes and commercial space in 15,500 sq m GFA, Ministry of National Development (MND) revealed.
The predominantly Upper Serangoon Road residential site will provide retail amenities for Bidadari HDB estate residents, MND added.
The 2,170 units under confirmed list sites is higher compared to 1,560 units launched in the first half of 2016.
Meanwhile, under the reserve list are 7 residential sites including 1 executive condominium site, 2 commercial sites, 1 mixed-use site and 1 white site. These list of sites could yield a total of 5,380 residential units and commercial space in 261,600 sq m GFA.
Three sites at Beach Road are included in reserve list sites, such as Woodlands Square, Central Boulevard and Beach Road.
