Singapore will have 5 new express bus services start from September, it will carry different commuters directly from their area to the city.
These newly City Direct services will operates from Woodlands, Marsiling, Tampines East, Pasir Ris, Yishun and Yew Tee to the Central Business District (CBD) for morning rush hours and back to these areas from Central Business District during the evening rush hours.
Express services will carry commuters including the residents of Dnest @ Pasir Ris Grove, NorthPark Residences and Symphony Suites as instantly as trains do via expressways.
Singapore LTA announced a tender in July 2015 for 5 more City Direct services that will run from Clementi, Ang Mo Kio, Dover, Bedok, Yishun and Punggol towards the Central Business District (CBD).
The upcoming City Direct bus services will be introduced progressively by Q4 2015.
