The joint venture between Singapore’s Temasek, M+S Pte Ltd and Malaysia’s Khazanah Nasional announced the topping out of its flagship integrated project, Marina One in Singapore’s prestigious Marina Bay area.
The 3.67 million sq ft integrated development will comprise of Marina One East Tower and Marina One West Tower—1,042 units of luxurious Marine One Residences, 2 prime Grade-A office buildings of about 1.88 million sq ft, 65,000 sq ft of lush greenery and a retail podium with around 140,000 sq ft of retail space.
According to Kemmy Tan, M+S chief executive officer, the joint venture has assured strong pre-commitment of over half a million sq ft for office leasing.
The contracted leases, including those under documentation, will lead Marina One’s take-up to more than 550,000 sq ft.
Marina One is due to be complete in 2017, it will offer some of Asia’s largest prime Grade A office spaces, 2 of the 100,000 sq ft contiguous floor plates of office space on 28 and 29 floors. It will also offer the typical office floor plates ranging from 34,000 to 40,000 sq ft in the Marina Bay area.
