The Ministry of National Development had announced the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme on second half of 2015 (2H2015), which comprises 13 Reserve List sites and 4 Confirmed List sites. The list of sites can provide about 7,825 residential units, including 1,340 units of Executive Condominium (EC) and commercial space around 277,580 sqm GFA.
The 4 private residential sites on the Confirmed List can yield approximate 2,130 private residential units, including 520 units for EC.
The Reserve List consists of 8 private residential site, 2 sites for commercial, 2 sites for commercial & residential and 1 White site. Site on Reserve List can yield approximate 5,695 units for residential and 275,580 sqm GFA of commercial space, mostly use for office space.
GLS Programme supply of commercial space and private housing, sum up with the supply from pipeline projects, will be enough to meet the needs for commercial space and private housing for the coming few years.
The residential sites on the Confirmed List are located in Rest of Central Region (RCR) and Outside Central Region (OCR). It is expected to yield around 2,130 residential units, with 520 units of EC, the number will be summed up to the current supply in pipeline with approximate 84,000 units for private residential, including executive condominium (EC).
Located close to the Business District Core, Rest of Central Region (RCR) mostly comprises of residential development like The Centren @ Geylang, High Park Residences and Botanique @ Bartley.
