Heartland mall Compass One is set to reopened in September following its closure to give way to reconstruction works which took almost a year, Compass One owner M&G Real Estate announced in press release last 27 July.
According to its owner, 95% of the retail space in Mall has been leased bringing back anchor tenants Kopitiam and Cold Storage, and since moved in last month, 50 new retailers following the granting of Compass One's Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP).
Heartland mall Compass One will feature a bigger Sengkang Public Library, across the two floors. More educational facilities and a much bigger common areas will also be available with improved amenities like Children's playground.
This soon to be open Mall was previously known as Compass Point, then renamed 1 Sengkang Mall through a contest in social media, and after the winning name got complaint online, the mall was finally renamed again as Compass One.
The suburban shopping mall Compass One was built as an integrated development located in the town centre of Sengkang, nearby residential developments includes The Treasure Crest and Rivertrees Residences.
